Certification and Scheduling
To protect children from unsuitable and harmful content in films and videos and to give consumers information they might need about a particular film or video before deciding whether or not to view it, the BBFC (British Board of Film examination) examines and age rates films and videos before they are released to the public. The age ratings range from U for universal to 18 which determines what audience they're suitable for.
These rating are based off the content contained in the film such as the levels of violence and gore, explicit language, sexual content, discrimination and reference/use of drugs. The BBFC's guidelines are used by its examiners to rate the film depending on how much of this content is shown and the detail involved but also the context that it is used in.

My video rating
From analysing my videos themes and content I would rate it a 12/12A as it contains dark themes and characters that may upset younger audiences, there are also scenes of moderate violence such as a long shot of the protagonist getting shot.
Scheduling: Where will it be shown?
As this is a music video it would most likely be shown on the internet on video websites such as Youtube and social networking sites like Facebook, this means there is very little restriction to who can access my video however youtube does have a system in which visitors cannot watch a video without an account.
There is also the chance that it could appear on TV on music channels such as MTV meaning it would have to be shown after 7pm due to laws set by the government.
Channels on Youtube such as UKF Dubstep have millions of subscribers and post the latest dubstep songs on their channel gaining thousands of views.
